Romantic & bright wedding inspiration

I’ve been thinking about this editorial shoot for many months. Originally it was scheduled early April, but due to the Covid crisis we had to postpone it to May, right after the confinement.

It was not only a pleasure to dive into wedding mode again, but it was also so great to gather and create together!

I imagined this shooting as a painting from another era. I wanted these images to evoke femininity, softness, a bright and ethereal atmosphere ; a breathing. And also spring, its renewal and soft opulence ; an English garden feel, wildly romantic.

Cathy Marion is an instinctive photographer, she knew how to capture these instants softly and naturally ; her caring and authenticity reflect on her images.

Under the centennial archs of Château de la Pinais, Christelle (Rosa Event Design) composed a table like a painting, elegant and romantic with its delicate textures and Materials. In line with her approach to favor local talents, she created the stationery herself with handmade paper from Brittany. Hand-painted and adorned with touches of gold, it echoes the vintage brass bowls of Atelier Aimer’s centerpieces. For guest favors, she called on Instant Céleste who created tea petals candles in vintage cups.

The airy and vaporous dress created by Maud Les Mariées de Caractère is an ode to femininity. Along with the precious and delicate jewels of Hélène Turbé and the soft and natural hair and makeup by Audrey Aya, it highlighted the radiant and voluptuous beauty of our bride, reminiscent of paintings from another century.

Around the forged iron seat of Rosa Event Design, I created an organic and wild decor in soft hues in front of the Château’s bow windows. Part of the ingredients came from a local grower where I chose and picked my flowers : large wild roses branches, climbing hydrangea, honeysuckle, dogwood, hellebores… all these convey the naturality and garden feel I crave for – not to mention their divine fragrance! And as all my arrangements, in a zero waste approach this decor was designed without floral foam, using reusable structures.

It is also the reason why I chose to work with this 100% local talented team, that shares my convictions and values : eco-conscious, authentic and inspired.
