Wedding inspiration: Natural, Wild, Poetic

Nature is my inspiration. I love its wildness, its perfect imperfection. I love those places where nature reclaims its rights and weeds get to grow in every tiny gap – so poetic… Natural, Wild, Poetic: these three words have been guiding me to create the atmosphere of this editorial shoot.

Dorothée (Mademoiselle Do) and Matt (Marions-Nous dans les Bois) captured the details and spirit of this beautiful day with a lot of softness and natural.

The depth and timeless feel of Emmanuel Ligner‘s wet plate films, raw yet full of nuances, bring out the aura of our lovers.

It was a really emotional day for our couple, indeed the shooting was the occasion for them to exchange vows and put words on their feelings, their vision of couple and future. They discovered each other’s words only once the video was released: it was such an emotional moment!

The simple and authentic table was designed by Christelle (Rosa Event Design), it is rich of many textures and lovely details: delicate ceramics from Margot Coville, vintage dinnerware from Le Grenier de Rosa, the gorgeous stationery designed by Graphikkart, and the wild and poetic arrangements created by Atelier Aimer.

Mixing noble and wild flowers, fresh and dried textures, foraging wild foliage and berries to get as close as possible to nature : this is how is love to design and create. The organic style and faded colors of the large mantelpiece decor echoes the patina of walls and old stones. A vegetal cloud floats above the table and creates a nice perspective. Also, because I care about nature and my ecological footprint, all these installations were designed without floral foam, they only use reusable and recyclable structures.

Organic and natural shapes can also be seen in the embroidery details of the gorgeous gown specially designed by Isabelle Payet, and in the vegetal-inspired embroidered accessories, so delicate and poetic, crafted by Nathalie Grelier.

Finally, as a true food lover, I couldn’t imagine a wedding without treats : the table was quickly set up to display all the beautiful and delicious desserts prepared by Nina. Far from the traditional and sophisticated wedding cake, we wanted things simple and authentic, desserts that can be shared and eaten with the fingers!
